Lucky's Picnic 5
The mouse, the cat, and Lucky went out of the front door.
Lucky put the key in the lock and locked the door.
The cat held onto the basket.
The mouse held Lucky’s fishing rod.
“Are we ready? “asked Lucky.
“Yes, we are,” exclaimed the cat and mouse. “Lets go!”

The mouse giggled with excitement, hopping from stone to stone, playing hopscotch.Lucky's Picnic 7
The cat found a wicker basket with a wicker handle.
She carefully put a large napkin in. so that the food would go on top.
“Don’t forget to put a knife in!” shouted Lucky.
Then the cat slowly filled the basket with all the food.
Then she covered the food with a cloth.
“We are ready to go on our picnic now,” said the cat.

The trio approached the oak tree.
It’s branches spread open, as if welcoming them.
On the branches were oak leaves and acorns,
The mouse made circles with all the acorns he could find, and continued to play hopscotch with them.
The cat arranged the leaves to make numbers and a message.

“What message shall I make”, she asked Lucky.
“Happy days?”, suggested Lucky.
“Brilliant”, squeaked the mouse.
So she gently placed the leaves to form ‘Happy days for the 3 pals’
Then, after a while, a breeze picked up the leaves and sent them into the clouds.
