Lucky's Picnic 15
“Hi”, said the pig.
“Quack,” said the duck.
“Moo”, said the cow.
“Rivet”, said the frog.
“Can we join join your party, please?”, they asked together.
“And me too”, sung a bluebird flying overhead.

“Of course, you can join us”, said the cat.
“The more the merrier”, said Lucky.
The mouse gave a little squeak.
The pig, the cow, the frog and the duck, sat on the mat,
while the Bluebird hovered overhead.

The cow. was easy to feed as she only at grass.

The pig was easy to feed as pigs eat anything.
The duck ate some rice.
But the frog and the bluebird decided
that they wanted fish.

Lucky got his fishing rod out,
and then the mouse took over.
‘Splash!’ He cast the hook and sinker into the flowing stream.
“Hurry up and catch something!”, shouted the frog,
as a bluebird whistled above.

As they all sat on the mat,
some dragonflies and butterflies flew in a darting way above them.
In the meantime, the mouse kept fishing.
"Nothing yet", he said,
with an air of disappointment.
