They all went back to finish the picnic
The Bluebird ate the leftover crumbs.
The frog just leapt up and down, declaring that he was hungry.
The sun was starting to go down.
It would soon be time to go home.

“Time to go home”, said Lucky.
Lucky the cat and the mouse set off for home.
“That was a lovely day”, said the cat.
“And a very wet one”, squeaked the mouse.
“Lots of fun and excitement”, exclaimed Lucky

Off, they went singing ‘happy days’,
as a big red sun
went down over the horizon.
